What's "Where Ever"?
|
|||
Power of Three |
|||

'So & So So & So from Wherever Wherever'? maybe?

Yeah, but that'd be unbelievable; that hasn't been played to our knowledge since 1993.

It is Wherever You Go. An unfortunately, they played some repeats tonight.
Cambridge, MA Night Three: You Were Right Hindsight* (Albeit extended jam version) Stab Else Randy Described Eternity Joyride Kicked it in the Sun Where Ever You* Distopian Dream Girl Carry the Zero Nowhere Nothing !#%% Up Encore: The Weather Planting Seeds* Goin' Against Your Mind* * denotes repeated one of the other two nights. All an all, a great three nights. Tonight they were also selling a copy of the album which had Doug's song 'Saved' on it. Pretty happy to get that. |

I was at the first Toronto show and took a couple of notes on the set, but thanks to "distopian dreamer" who posted the set list here. I used it for
a reference when writing up my review. If you're interested, my photos and review can be found here:

So... The albums out. When do they start their album tour? Is this is? Why aren't they playing more songs from the album?

This is the tour for TINE. They were selling TINE shirts. They haven't been playing too many new songs because BTS aren't a conventional band. Plus,
you can't win with something like that. Either you have people at the shows clamoring for old stuff (people still chant Car, Carry the Zero, and Big
Dipper every five seconds) or you have people wondering why they don't play more of the new record. Can't make all the people happy all the time.

I suppose that is true. I just assumed they would be playing more from the album.
I saw them after they released YIR and they mostly played the new tunes as well as several great older songs. |

Ithaca, NY show | ||

BTS played one of Ithaca's beautiful old theatres, built in the days when it was home to the burgeoning film industry (before they realized they could film all year round in southern California). The set list was as follows: Traces
In an interview with the Cornell Daily Sun Doug said that they would be playing more of the new album as the tour progressed. He said that they thought people didn't want to hear songs they didn't know, so they wanted to give people a chance to hear the new songs before seeing them. |

Music Hall Of Williamsburg - 10/14/09
11:08pm Three Years Ago Today In The Morning Strange Life's A Dream Distopian Dream Girl Done Wherever You Go Nowhere Lullaby In Your Mind Planting Seeds Alarmed Carry The Zero 12:21am 12:24am Randy Described Eternity Car Goin' Against Your Mind (8 minutes) 12:40pm I was very pleased to hear Nowhere Lullaby and Planting Seeds, but they really didn't bring the heat tonight. Conventional Wisdom was pretty cool on Monday, but I really miss the 10/20/30 minute killer encores... Cortez, Broken Chairs, Nowhere Nothing Fuckup, Velvet Waltz... |
